The  Chemical Blacking Process

Chemical Blacking is inexpensive and easy to apply. There are no dimensional changes in the size of the piece nor is there any reduction in the hardness of heat treated parts, because the black oxide is an integral part of the metal surface it cannot chip, crack, peel or rub off. We only do hot chemical blacking, and in return we guarantee a black uniform finish. With chemical blacking you get an overall black-uniform oxide coating which offers a decorative and scratch resistant finish, unlike electroplating which sometimes gives an uneven distribution of plate ,especially on threaded parts and recessed parts.
